Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Ultrasonographer Tech

Shift: Variable D/E, 8x5, 40 hrs per week

Length: 16 weeks

Weekend position: Fri, Sat, Sun: 7 am - 7 pm. Shifts may vary depending on operational needs of facility. Call support as needed

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience
  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations
  • RDMS in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American - Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required
  • AHA BLS
  • EMR Used: EPIC
  • 2 years clinical experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
Other details:
  • Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
  • Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the area
  • Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience
  • Must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius
