Personal Service Assistant/CNA

Job Summary:
The Preserve at Meridian is seeking a full and part-time Personal Service Assistant/CNA (PSA/CNA) to join our healthcare team. The PSA/CNA will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to our residents in a compassionate and professional manner. This position is an individual contributor role and requires a dedicated and hardworking individual who is passionate about providing quality care to seniors.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly position with a pay rate of $12.5 to $14.5 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, the Preserve at Meridian also offers full-time employee's a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career growth and advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to residents according to their individual care plans
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment when necessary
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing staff
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by the nursing staff
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for residents, including performing housekeeping duties and changing linens as needed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that residents' dietary needs and preferences are met
- Engage with residents in activities and socialization to promote their physical and emotional well-being
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Mississippi
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn new software programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
