Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an HFM Analyst. This role will be responsible for providing specialized support for HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), FDMEE and other financial systems during M&A activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data. The HFM Analysis plays a key role in supporting financial systems during M&A transactions and contribute to the administration and management of HFM.

This is a hybrid role, you must be located in commuting distance to the office in Darien, Ct. This is a very flexible environment, you will work with a fantastic group of individuals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Systems Support:
    • Provide specialized support for HFM and other financial systems during M&A activities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data throughout the M&A process.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues related to financial systems during M&A transactions.
  2. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Controller, FP&A teams, and business unit finance teams.
    • Facilitate seamless integration of financial systems and reporting processes across departments.
    • Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  3. Analytical Methodology:
    • Utilize a combination of analytical, functional, design, and technical skills.
    • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
    • Perform data analysis and interpret findings to support decision-making related to financial systems and processes.
  4. M&A Financial Systems Support: (M&A experience preferred not required)
    • Play a pivotal role in supporting financial systems during M&A transactions.
    • Contribute to the administration and management of HFM to meet the needs of M&A activities.
    • Provide expertise and guidance on financial systems-related matters during M&A due diligence, integration, and post-merger phases.
  5. Documentation and Governance:
    • Create and maintain system, process, internal control, and change management documentation.
    • Ensure the application of established governance processes and controls related to financial systems.
    • Drive adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
  • Stroong experience working with HFM and FDMEE.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with internal controls, governance processes, and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
Location: Southwest Connecticut - Hybrid in office 3 days
