Job Summary

The Agent will be responsible for the service and sales of personal lines insurance products to an existing group of personal insurance clients. This role requires a dynamic individual who can efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and work both as part of a team and independently.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day service needs for clients.
  • Coordinate marketing for new and renewal coverages.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, loss summaries, proposals.
  • Handle claim and cancellation activities for clients.
  • Service an assigned book of business.
Primary Skills & Requirements
  • Property & Casualty General Agents License is required.
  • Effective communication skills: Ability to communicate and understand orally and in writing with others to explain complex or abstract issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and usages: Familiarity with rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage client and prospect lists.
  • Computer literacy: Ability to utilize computer programs necessary to perform the job.
  • Customer service skills: Must be organized and able to provide excellent customer service.
