Sheet Metal Mechanic

Kalos Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products and systems for HVAC installations. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

Schedule - Night shift position scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, typically from 9 PM to 7 AM, requiring regular travel to and from various site locations. Frequent out of town assignments are expected throughout the year, which may involve weeklong stays. During these assignments, the company will provide lodging and meals per diem to ensure the technician's comfort and wellbeing while away from home

Requirements

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and equipment such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Use tools and machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
• Install HVAC systems, ensuring proper airflow and temperature control.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machines for metal fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
