Nurse Case Manager I

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse for the role of Nurse Case Manager I. This is a work-from-home position with occasional local travel. Your primary responsibility will be to manage cases and help injured workers and their families. You will work closely with the patient, medical providers, the patient's family, our team, and others involved in the injured worker's care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide case management support, including in-person and telephonic communications with the patient, physician, other healthcare providers, employers and others.
- Analyze current treatment plans and recommend alternate treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient's treatment plan for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Attend medical visits, hospital and/or long-term facility discharge planning conferences.
- Implement ongoing care, including negotiation of durable medical equipment and nursing services.
- A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current RN licensure in the state of operation.
- Experience as a medical case manager or a clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation.
- Strong interpersonal, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,846 to $90,940. In addition to paid time off, our benefits package includes Medical (HDHP) with Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability and other insurance options, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options, 401(k) plan and more.
