Per diem position, we will work your schedule. Day/evening shifts available for coverage at University Hospital, Science Drive Medical Center, Eastpark Medical Center, 1 South Park Street Clinic, and East Madison Hospital. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist - MRI to:
  • Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
  • Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Education :

Minimum - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Work Experience :

Minimum - Previous healthcare experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -

• Certification by appropriate body (ARRT and valid Wisconsin Radiological License)*

• CPR certification required within 3 months of hire

• MRI certification within 30 months of hire

*Wisconsin Radiological License is not necessary for Traveler positions

Preferred - MRI certification

It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Dr. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
