Assistant Professor - Northern Kentucky Campus Physician Assistant Program

Term of Employment:
  • Full time, 12-month appointment
  • Benefits available per University policy for full time faculty/staff
Minimum Position Requirements
  • Masters level degree in Physician Assistant Studies Program.
  • Current NCCPA Certification
  • PA State Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of at least 2 years of prior experience in PA or medical education.
  • Educational background in instruction and coordination of clinical diagnosis and physical assessment courses or coordination of biomedical science courses
Principal faculty position
  • Teaching in both didactic and clinical phases of the program.
  • Advising students in both didactic and clinical phases of the curriculum.
  • Actively participating in student recruitment, admissions, and evaluation, remediation, and retention processes.
  • Actively participating in accreditation process as assigned by the Program Director.
  • Actively participating in course planning, development, delivery and review.
  • Any additional duties assigned by the Program Director, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
