Job Description:

Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Phlebotomy orders by assigned provider
  • Processing of specimens and sending to appropriate lab as patient insurance dictates
  • Rooming patients timely for assigned provider
  • Documentation of appropriate tracking logs, i.e. labs sent, lab cleaning, exam room cleaning/restocking
  • Chart prep for assigned providers upcoming patients. (Goal: 5 days in advance)
  • Travel with provider to Crozer/Brinton Lake as schedule dictates
  • Conduct clinical huddles daily
  • Completion of tasks in assigned group inboxes
  • Greet patients utilizing professional customer services
  • Successful completion of annual competencies
Education/experience
  • High school/GED diploma
  • MA Diploma (Certification desired)
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • 2 years' experience in an outpatient setting
Essential qualities necessary include, but are not limited to:
  • Patient and pleasant personality; works well with a variety of people.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Interfaces well with staff and physicians.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Pleasant and friendly tone of voice.
  • Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members.
