Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets every internal and external guest immediately upon first encounter.
- Escorts guests into the facility, enhancing satisfaction and efficiency by opening doors, offering wheelchair assistance, guidance, and carrying packages and luggage.
- Maintains the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of assigned area.
- Responds to guest inquiries and concerns promptly with courtesy.
- Builds relationships by engaging guests and clients in assigned area(s) by conducting authentic, personable conversations.
- Maintains a level of patience with guests.
- Maintains current knowledge of the facility procedures and guest-related information including, facility general information, general event information, taxi/transportation assistance, and airport information.
- Maintains current knowledge of emergency procedures, situations, and safety procedures.
- Responds to safety hazards including water on floor, objects inadvertently blocking doors, electrical cords removed or taped, and misplaced furniture.
- Maintains safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to work legally in the United States.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must pass background and drug screenings.
- Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions and present most recent driving record.
- Must be able to drive a stick shift (manual and automatic).
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in the elements (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.).
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, see, and hear.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distance.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours is sometimes required.
