Purpose

Scope

InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to assist with our IT department's needs to support onboarding, training and development, university recruiting, and other areas. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with various team leaders while obtaining industry insight. The ideal candidate will be assertive, work with a sense of urgency and display a strong work ethic. Flexibility is also key as this position may help support any of the human resources functions.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
  • Training on relevant SOPs.
  • Supporting IT functions.
  • Presentations to IT and cross functional teams.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting technical problems through your skills and creative thinking.
  • You will be required to attend a volunteer event and professional development seminar as part of your internship experience.
  • You will also be assigned a ten (10) to fifteen (15) minute presentation at the end of the internship to express what you learned throughout your time working at Cipla and what you are taking away from the experience
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in Bachelors/ Master's program in Information Technology or related field.
  • Proficiently speak English as a first or second language
  • Have excellent organization, learning and teaching skills required to work in teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and manage 20 lbs.
  • Has strong interpersonal and collaboration skills crucial for team-based working.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Available for the full duration of the internship program.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the internship.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 15 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Must be willing to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
  • Must be willing to work some weekends based on business needs as required by management.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, hair net, safety shoes, glasses, lab coat, and other PPE as required.
  • No remote work.
