Job Description:
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced OpenText Consultant with a strong background in Microsoft Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing OpenText solutions on Azure, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and performance for our enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- OpenText Solution Deployment:
- Deploy and configure various OpenText solutions, including Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management, and Records Management, on the Azure cloud platform.
- Ensure the successful installation and setup of OpenText components.
- Azure Infrastructure Integration:
- Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions to support OpenText applications, including Azure VMs, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory.
- Integrate OpenText with other Azure services for optimal performance.
- Migration and Data Transfer:
- Plan and execute data migrations from on-premises systems to Azure-based OpenText solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and minimize downtime during migrations.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive information within OpenText solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security assessments and audits.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize OpenText solutions for performance and scalability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement Azure-based scaling and load-balancing solutions.
- Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for OpenText and Azure management tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Azure Resource Manager templates or other relevant tools.
- Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of OpenText configurations and Azure deployments.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams and internal staff.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenText solutions on Azure.
- Provide support and assistance for incident management and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an OpenText Consultant with expertise in Azure.
- Strong knowledge of OpenText solutions and their architecture.
- Azure certification(s) such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure infrastructure for enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with security practices, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations.
