The manufacturing facilities are geographically dispersed, with two facilities in Canada and one each in Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and North Carol Our location in Aurora, CO has an opening for a Forklift Operator. Your Day-to-Day -Properly counts finished product cases from production. -Packages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling). -Conduct cycle counts to ensure materials are available for production. -Stages finished product for loading. -Loads finished product onto truck. -Unloads raw materials from truck. -Drives box truck to shipping freezer and unloads finished product and returns box truck to dry warehouse for reloading process. -Receives inbound raw materials. -Moves raw materials to warehouse storage. -Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in. -Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs). -Safely operates forklift. -Completes daily logs. -Communicates with operators from other shifts. -Cleans and maintains work area. -Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use. -Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s). -Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. What You Bring to the Team -Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule. -Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary. -Must be able to read and write in either English or Spanish. -Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. -Able to stay focused in a loud working environment. -Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict -work/safety rules 100% of the time. -Demonstrates experience with loading trailers. -Must pass Forklift training and receive certification. -Demonstrates safe forklift and electric walking pallet jack operations.
