We are excited to announce an opening for a School Operations Lead for the 2025-2026 school year

BASIS Independent Bothell is set to launch in September 2025, and we are eager to welcome passionate educators, administrators, and support staff who want to make a significant impact. What We're Seeking

This role is primarily focused on student services, particularly in accounts receivable, transportation, and food services. Working closely with the Head of Operations, the Operations Lead will develop and uphold customer service protocols, ensuring high standards of service and efficient responses to inquiries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute transportation logistics, including establishing bus routes and coordinating arrival and dismissal procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents regarding accounts receivable questions and issues, serving as a liaison with the Central Office processing center.
  • Oversee daily operations related to lunch service, ensuring a seamless experience for students.
  • Manage front office operations and train staff on handling phone calls, student pick-up procedures, FAQ responses, and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with our textbook vendor to maintain the school's online bookstore effectively.
  • Provide support for event services and auxiliary functions as necessary.
  • Collect and update data during the re-enrollment period for student registration.
  • Assist the operations team by maintaining student accounts, facilitating new employee onboarding, and coordinating logistics for summer training.

Qualifications for This Position

  • A bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain necessary clearance to work.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
  • Solid understanding of operational planning and customer service best practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An excellent academic record and recommendations, with a willingness to embrace new ideas.
