Overview

Quinn Company, your local Caterpillar store, is hiring a Warranty Analyst in City of Industry, California

The Warranty Analyst review, advise and administer warranty from manufacturers. This position can work from Metro Region. Metro includes the following locations: City of Industry, Foothill Ranch or Riverside.

Wages

The Warranty Analyst's starting wage will depend on experience and education. $18.20 - $25.36

Responsibilities

The Warranty Analyst's essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Review and advise warranty work orders to verify allowed warranty coverage, hours billed align with TRG/ERLG guidelines, complete and accurate service reports to ensure jobs are claimable within required manufacturer warranty timeframe.

• Provide training to parts, service and sales personnell about warranty coverages and required documents/information.

• Use equipment and repair information to ensure jobs are ready to create manufacturer warranty claim.

• Reviews repair story and other repair elements to make sure they support the warranty claim.

• Coordinates gathering of warranty related documents from the parts and service departments as needed.

• Process requests for Caterpillar Goodwill and Loaner support for the region.

• Review rejected warranty claims for possible correction and re-submission.

• Corresponds with manufacturers regarding warranty matters as required.

• Provides communication and follow up on warranty work orders waiting to be claimed.

• Create and track requests for additional data sent to service shops prior to invoicing the warranty job for future training needs.

• Access various online resources as part of the warranty process.

• Provide support for the parts department related to parts warranty claims.

• Act as a resource for warranty information. Maintain good working relationship with Parts, Service, Sales and Accounting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must be willing to travel within the Region.
