Schedule: Night Shift, 10PM- 6:30AM - full time

Pay: $20.5 per hour + night shift differential ($1.5)

Sanitation: Monitor equipment cleaning and effectiveness.

Carry out post cleaning inspections and verifications - visual, swabs etc.

Assist with line personnel sanitation training.

Perform site sanitation duties including emptying trash cans, replenishing supplies, sweeping, mopping etc.

Maintain plant exterior grounds including picking trash, gutter cleaning, stormwater drain cleaning etc. to ensure that these are always maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

Waste Management: Monitor Wastewater discharge including daily cleaning and testing - pH, scheduling pump outs etc.

Monitor and coordinate solid waste and sludge disposal from the plant in a timely manner.

Ensure that on site storage is kept from any spills.

Assist in Wastewater and Stormwater sampling.

Monitor and coordinate the disposal of water containing chemical and organic waste.

Monitor and coordinate solid waste disposal like cardboard, feed, drink cans and sharps.

Carry out inventory checks, write purchase orders and maintains sanitation inventory.

Pest Control/Chemicals: Monitor Pest Control Program inside and outside the plant.

Ensure security of all sanitation chemicals located on premises by limiting access and monitoring/preventing leaks, spills, etc. Monitors and maintains spill containment kits.

Perform routine titration tests of cleaning chemicals.

Assure Sanitation chemicals are within the end use concentrations.

Requirements

English language - required

Experience in food industry (preferred)

Experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)

Experience with operating rolling stock such as forklifts, Floor Scrubbers and Aerial/boom lifts
