We are seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist to work three days a week, primarily during first shift hours. The schedule includes possible weekend and holiday coverage as well as an on-call rotation. This position is located in Erie, PA.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will ensure that the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy meet all customer and patient expectations. You will also contribute to and develop pharmacy-specific policies and procedures, ensuring that all policies and procedures meet or exceed all applicable Joint Commission and other auditing agency regulations. Additionally, you will participate on the interdisciplinary team, accurately interpret medication orders, and compound/dispense them in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Credentials:

  • Licensure in good standing by the appropriate state pharmacy board required
  • Successful completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or one that is determined to be substantially equivalent to a U.S.-accredited program by a certifying agency preferred
  • One or more years of supervisory experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
