Job Description: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The IT Systems Intern is responsible for supporting and managing the critical business systems for Innovation and Operations organization. The position provides experience for all aspects of systems production support and development. The position has superior troubleshooting capabilities, and outstanding customer service and support skills. This position builds, customizes, tests, implements, maintains and/or enhances a variety of software systems. The IT Innovation and Operations is a dynamic environment which offers exposure to many technologies across all Cirrus Aircraft business units. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Demonstrated Proficiencies/Skills/Abilities: Familiar with computer operating systems and applications. Familiar with software system development including knowledge of programming languages and databases. Open minded listening skills; able to restate a customer or teammate’s issue to their satisfaction, and as open to persuasion as they are ready to persuade. Good written and verbal communications skills; able to explain complex concepts in terms and conditions familiar to customers and teammates of all ranks. Good analytical skills; able to reverse engineer requirements when a customer or teammate presents a problem in the form of a solution design.
