The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues. Job Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform treatments, conduct special tests, and document care as per company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
- Assess and determine patient needs and their responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate closely with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
- Guide and supervise ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, holding a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York State is required.
- Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Knowledgeable in quality improvement concepts and capable of applying problem-solving techniques to enhance patient care.
Salary Range: $33.00/hr - $63.98/hr
