Our company is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Case Manager to provide medical case management and vocational rehabilitation services to physically disabled individuals with the goal of returning them to work. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients, referral sources, physicians, employers, attorneys, and other professionals to ensure timely return to gainful employment. Key responsibilities include interviewing and evaluating clients, determining eligibility for rehabilitation services, recommending suitable job goals for clients, and documenting all case activity. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field, with course work in rehabilitation philosophy, ethics, medical aspects of disability, psychological aspects of disability, job placement, counseling theory, and work evaluation. CRC or CDMS certification is required for candidates with a Master's degree. Understanding of Managed Care or Workers' Compensation is preferred.
