Lab Accessioner - 2nd Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Lab Accessioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Processing samples from clients in a fast-paced environment, including blood, urine, and other specimens.

• Entering sample information into our computer system accurately and efficiently.

• Receiving and triaging all specimens for clinical testing.

• Managing clinical information within our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database.

• Performing internal audits of clinical charts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborating with various departments to ensure testing accuracy and timely processing.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 0-2 years of work experience in a fast paced environment.

• Education: AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred.

• Attention to Detail: Proven ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.

• Teamwork: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Data Entry Skills: Strong data entry skills with a focus on repetition and accuracy. No medical/lab background is required, but you will be handling specimens.
