Job Requisition: REQ2819 Employment Type: Part-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 20 Hiring Range: $19.45 -$26.01 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: • Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property. • Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials. • Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products. • Maintains equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used according to departmental policies and procedures. Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: Driver’s license preferred. Education: • High school diploma or GED required.
