Sutter Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an ongoing position in California. The successful candidate will perform routine nuclear medicine examinations, provide basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. They would also have well-developed time management and organizational skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and be part of the team. The salary range for this role is $67.84 to $84.79 per hour and depends on several factors like experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.   • Education: Successful completion of an educational program in Nuclear Medicine accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) OR Successful completion of an educational program in Radiography accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification & Licensure: NMT-California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist; BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Typical Experience: 5 years of recent relevant experience
  • Skills and Knowledge: General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options. Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI).Build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
