The Registered Nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for assigned patients. Performs professional nursing duties, assesses patient needs, and advocates for ongoing care. Acts as a mentor to new graduates and support staff. This position is at Foothill Regional Medical Center, a fully accredited acute care hospital licensed for 177 beds. The center includes a pediatric sub-acute unit serving patients up to 21 years of age.
- Provides patient care, administers treatments, and intervenes as necessary.
- Develops short and long-term goals in line with the plan of care and patient preferences.
- Collaborates with healthcare team members and supervises patient care activities.
- Expresses compassion and understanding for patients and their support systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care setting
- Certification in specialty area of Practice
Sign-On Bonus Eligibility: To be eligible for the Sign-On Bonus, you must have one or more years (1+) of acute care RN hospital experience. The bonus payments are made in increments over the course of 24 months to active employees in good standing.
Pay Rate: Min - $44.30 | Max - $62.60
