Columbia, Maryland, United States Amazon Full time

Do you love decomposing problems to develop products that impact millions of people around the world? Would you enjoy identifying, defining, and building software solutions that revolutionize how businesses operate?

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Are you committed to fundamentally transforming the way national security and defense mission agencies partner with industry to meet mission requirements? Do you possess experience managing large, complex programs? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to manage multiple large-scale programs for our most sensitive regions.

Technical Program Managers handle the heavy lifting of making sure that large scale programs and projects in AWS are driven efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for identifying the stakeholders, driving to set roadmaps and strategies for the program, driving delivery, reporting status, and holding the bar on quality. You will need to work with many teams in different domains and will work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, dev support teams and customer service teams to deliver results. If you are someone who has passion and experience for managing large scale programs, we would love to hear from you.

Our company credo is "Work hard. Have fun. Make history". You will love what you do and instinctively know how to make work fun. You will have experience refining processes, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to diverse audiences.

You will be a positive influencer across teams, be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives and help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet program goals. You are able to handle business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with engineers and Sr. leaders.

We have a team culture that encourages innovation and we expect team members and management alike to take high degree of ownership for their program vision and execution of ideas. You will create, track and investigate metrics which define the success of your programs and future opportunities.

AWS is the leading cloud provider, providing virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services to customers all over the world. Our services scale to staggering levels and are highly distributed. AWS's rapid worldwide expansion creates new challenges in data protection, availability, and growth. Come join us
