ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Palliative Care, located in Greenville North Carolina, are seeking a fellowship trained Palliative Care physician to join their established Hospice and Palliative Care program. 16-bed Palliative Care Unit
Schedule includes a 4-day work week (8 am - 6 pm)

Administrative responsibilities will include participation in hospital committees, meetings, and projects that require palliative care expertise

Clinical Responsibilities:
Complete patient admission and discharges
Perform daily clinical rounds on inpatient units
Develop and update patient plans of care
Provide clinical support and consultation for the Advanced Practice Provider team, palliative care unit, and field staff
Direct/participate in family conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
Participate in agency quality improvement and patient/family experience activities
Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students
Provide care in the outpatient palliative care clinic
