Position Overview

The Promotions and Site Merchandising Intern, a fully remote position, will report directly to the DTC eCommerce Manager and plays a critical role in leading critical aspects of the promotion and merchandising brand site experience across the flagship business. This role is responsible for managing the overall day to day promotional experience across SimpleTire.com - including but not limited to promotional set up, promotional monitoring/analyzing, and payment data flow monitoring. This role will be both analytical and creative and will support initiatives touching upon all areas of the business. The Promotions and Merchandising Intern will work closely with marketplace managers and SimpleTire eCommerce managers to help achieve aggressive revenue and profit goals.

Essential job functions:
  • Execute promotional plan to drive the eCommerce business while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience
  • Assist in cross-functional efforts to launch new promotional/payment features on our flagship site
  • Support on-site merchandising initiatives to create a cohesive consumer journey that optimizes site engagement, product discovery, conversion, and overall consumer experience via merchandising and promotions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a site promotional calendar for eCommerce team visibility and cross-functional alignment.
  • Track KPI's associated with promotional campaigns and payment platforms to recommend future changes/enhancements to improve the experience
  • Report on Promotional and Merchandising trends including competitive insights and new tools & trends across industries

Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Pursuing BS or BA in Marketing, Business, Merchandising or related field.
  • Data-driven with proven track record of turning insights into action
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills is Excel, analyzing data, and reporting
  • Interest in working closely with marketing and user experience professionals
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations
  • Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
