- Provide physical therapy services to patients based on physician's plan of care
- Advise, consult, and teach treatment procedures and activities to clients and family members
- Participate in plan of care development and maintain accurate clinical records
- Confer with attending provider on client's progress and report conditions and reactions to treatment
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and maintain track of client goals and progress
Qualifications:
- Physical Therapist
- Graduate from an approved School of Physical Therapy
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
- At least two (2) years' experience in an acute hospital or equivalent (preferred)
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with current licensure
- At least one (1) years' experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred)
- Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance
