Job Title: Pipe Welder Job Description The welder will use TIG and stick welding for pipe fabrication for process piping. Responsibilities include welding stainless steel and carbon, working with schedule 10, schedule 40, and sani-tube pipes. The welder will study schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to determine the layout of pipes and devise welding plans. They will assemble and install a variety of metal pipes and pipe fittings, including stainless steel, and perform their own gouging to ensure clean welds that do not require rework. Additional duties include cleaning, preparing, and installing pipes with various fittings and weld joints according to standardized protocols. The welder will also work closely with a pipe fitter to identify and correct any issues, adjust flames and gauges, and thread piping. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Marion, Arkansas. Work Environment This position will perform pipe welding at ADM Southern Cotton in Memphis and travel to projects across the country at different plants. Hours are 6 AM to 6:30 PM when at ADM.
