Respite Direct Support Professional

About the Role: Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals to provide respite care for an individual with intellectual disabilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the individual's needs are met and providing a safe and supportive environment both in the home and the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support, assistance, and companionship.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the home and community.
- Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Follow agency policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
