Pulmonary/Critical Care Nocturnist Intensivist

Deaconess Pulmonary Critical Care Group consists of 16 F-T physicians, as well as 17 F-T Advanced Practitioners. This position is F-T and candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care. There will be one Nocturnist and one APP at Midtown and Gateway campuses per night. Henderson night call coverage currently covered by Day MD. Deaconess Midtown campus has 50 ICU beds; ICU average daily census is 25-35 patients. Deaconess Gateway campus has 37 ICU beds and 24 ICU beds in The Heart Hospital (all can be used for either a floor or ICU patient); ICU average daily census is 25-35 patients. Deaconess Henderson campus has 12 ICU beds; ICU average daily census is 5-7 patients. We have Pediatric Intensivists who cover children in the PICU at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. The Nocturnist will work 14-hour shifts from 5PM to 7AM in-house. A minimum of 132 shifts worked per year; additional shifts may be picked up upon request. Compensation is based on an hourly base rate with wRVU incentive, quality bonus, paid administrative time, APP supervision and shift incentive beginning with shift number 133 in the contract year. Fully implemented EMR (EPIC) integrated with Deaconess Health System. First year guaranteed salary of $520K and a Sign-on bonus of $50K.
