Legal Secretary

The Ford Agency is actively seeking a legal secretary to join a boutique Maryland law firm. This individual will support two attorneys, prepare legal documents, and assist with other tasks. The successful candidate will have a solid administrative background, strong organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone with administrative experience looking to get into the legal field

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys
• Prepare correspondence, documents, letters and other materials
• Maintain client files, records, and contact lists
• Answer and direct phone calls to the proper person

Qualifications Include:

• 3+ years of administrative assistant experience
• Law firm experience a plus
• Professional communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential information and handle with discretion
• Proficient with MS Office Suite

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
