Manage the Quality functions during the filling operations. Inspect cleaning/sanitization of equipment, line set-up, weights, torque, labeling, lot codes/expiration date. Inspect the filling lines according to standard procedures and sampling plans. Collect samples and retain according to schedule. Maintain standards and documents complete and organized. Fill out testing forms and submit micro and analytical samples to a 3rd party laboratory. Manage releases of finished goods and bulk, applying release labels. Inspect equipment for Compounding & Production. Issue Materials and Goods Rejection Report for non-conforming finished goods or Bulk. Notify supervisor of any discrepancies on the line. Monitor adherence to proper hygiene, gowning and hair protection, no eating/drinking/chewing gum on the line. Monitor and record thermometer readings in the warehouse, refrigerators, and ovens. Notify supervisors of any discrepancies. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Azusa, California.

Work Environment

They will be working in a laboratory environment. Monday-Friday, 1st Shift, 6:00am-2:30pm. Some overtime and weekends as needed. Office Equipment: Computer, Keyboard, Copier, Fax Machine. Laboratory Equipment: Weighing Scale, pH meter, viscometer, FT-IR, pycnometer, luminometer. Dress Code: Close-toed shoes, no jewelry.
