ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Licensed Practicing Nurse here at FVB, you will be an integral part of the patient care team and will guide and direct daily activities. You must be highly organized, work well individually and collaboratively, and demonstrate competency in providing patient care.

YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL...
- Administer medications
- Administer treatments, including, but not limited to dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
- Assist in direct resident care as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered
- Assists in admission and discharge procedures
- Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated
- Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders
- Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident's condition
- Have an active Nursing State license (Florida) (required)
- BLS/CPR Certified (Required)
- have had Physical and TB test within the last year
- Willing to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and rotating/on-call shifts as needed)
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient
- Assure continuity of services and care
- Have at least one year of skilled nursing experience (preferred)
