Peds Psychiatry job opening in Quincy, IL - 2 hours to St Louis; 3 hours to Kansas City; 1.5 hours to Springfield IL- Service area of 100,000 people Position Details: - Full-time, permanent position- Position: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry- Initial Contract Term: 5 years and renewable- Compensation: Base salary exceeds the MGMA median, and all physicians are eligible for a productivity incentive bonus plan based on work production as measured by WRVUs. A forgivable loan up to $300,000 for educational debt will be considered. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance included.- Benefits: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD & D insurance, malpractice coverage with tail, 403(b) pension plan plus 457(b) tax-deferral option, employee child care center, paid time off plus one week of CME time, annual professional expense allowance, and more. Requirements: - M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited School of Medicine; maintain Continuing Medical Educational requirements as required for licensure and skills maintenance.- IL State Medical License required- IL State Board Certified/Board Eligible in specialty- Active IL CS and DEA License- Current applicable life support certifications- Ability to obtain hospital privileges- Unrestricted ability to participate in all health plans Medical Group Details: - Two hospitals, a physician group, a four-year nursing education program, a foundation and a group of medical specialty businesses come together to form this Healthcare System. - Physician Services group is a 60+ provider, multi-specialty group affiliated with not-for-profit health system, the largest medical provider serving a 300,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. Community Details: The city of Quincy is located on the limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, and is renowned for it natural beauty, preservation of its exceptional stock of Victorian Era homes, and its highly developed programs in the arts. Quincy is just two hours from St. Louis, three and a half hours from Kansas City and four hours from Chicago. Quincy's Baldwin Field offers six commuter flights daily to St. Louis and Amtrak provides two round trip passenger trains daily to Chicago.
