Base salary starts at $25.33/hr.

E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S

  • Completes daily ordering on Mondays through Fridays.
  • Works with Pharmacy Director and staff to manage drug shortage and outage situations; communicates to other departments as necessary.
  • Establishes minimums and maximums and ordering processes for the department.
  • Attends quarterly business reviews with Cardinal to assess contract compliance, drug spend trends and inventory turns.
  • Addresses or explains budget variances and attends meetings with executive team as necessary.
  • Works as Pharmacy Tech staff as required.
  • Determines most appropriate source(s) of information for medication histories and utilizes them to create Best Possible Medication Histories (BPMH).
  • Creates Standard Work processes for collecting Medication Histories and revises continually.
  • Acts as primary person responsible for collecting Medication Histories for patients being admitted to inpatient units during working business hours.
  • Reviews Medication Histories collected by others (Pharmacy Techs, Nurses) outside of working business hours.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities as they relate to particular individuals or shifts and works with the appropriate managers/supervisors to create plans for improving identified challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned.
E D U C A T I O N
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
E X P E R I E N C E
  • One (1) year experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Experience in inventory manager preferred.
C R E D E N T I A L S
  • Must be a certified Pharmacy Technician or a certified Pharmacy Technician in Training by the Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy.
