Job Summary:

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammographer Technologist to join our Radiology team. As a Mammographer Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, producing high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care. Your role is crucial in the early detection of breast cancer, and your expertise will directly contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Imaging Operations: Operate X-ray equipment, perform mammography procedures, and ensure top-tier image quality.
• Patient Education: Educate women on the importance of regular mammography for breast health.
• Film Quality: Develop and assess mammography film for technical excellence.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment is clean and adjusted.
• Autonomy and Qualifications: Work independently, with 0-3 years of experience, and comply with industry standards in radiology.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field. Completion of an accredited mammography program is required.
• Certification: Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.
