Here's what you can expect from this job:
Responsibilities:

  • Provide hemodialysis treatments patients with kidney disease in adherence with the facility policy and procedure guidelines, as well as federal and local nursing regulations
  • Work under the supervision of the Clinical Manager/Facility Administrator and assisting in the supervision of Patient Care Technicians
  • Complete assessments of patients prior to and post-treatment; monitor patients during treatments
  • Administer and chart all medications per physician orders

Work Hours: Full-time employment; three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Nursing Degree - an ADN, BSN or MSN is required.
  • An active nursing license is required - if licensed in another state, licensure by endorsement may be considered.
  • At least 1 years of dialysis nursing experience is required.
