Job Details Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Interventional Pain Management The new Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support an Interventional Pain Physician. Skills: Strong knowledge of pain management practices and procedures Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, providers, and staff Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Ability to manage the flow of patients and maintain high levels of efficiency Qualifications: Physician Assistant must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant or by one of its predecessor agencies. Nurse Practitioner must be a graduate of an approved program for the training of NP's. Must have current and unrestricted license Physician Assistant's must have current NCCPA certification NP's must have current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification BLS and ACLS required. PALS required for those with pediatric care duties. DEA registration required for those with discharge responsibilities. Required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS/PALS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program. American Red Cross No online programs from any organization will be accepted. Experience preferred: - Experience in pain management, spine surgery or ortho surgery New Graduates welcomed Salary Range USD $66.55 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
