Summary: The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our IT systems and infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of our business. Working closely with the IT team and other departments, the IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including computers, printers, servers, and networking equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of IT systems, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Assist and manage all audio visual and meeting room technology setup.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess IT needs and requirements and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT tools and systems, promoting best practices and ensuring effective utilization.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment, active warehouse, and distribution center.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and utilize arms and hands. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This individual will occasionally climb ladders, hang item, and service areas that may require crawling or kneeling. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This full-time position works Monday through Friday, a routine work schedule with occasional after office or weekend hours. The position is on call for nights, weekends and Holidays.
Travel:
Occasional travel is expected.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or proven experience in a similar role, with strong technical skills in IT support, networking, and systems administration.
Knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches).
Cloud Platforms knowledge is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows), productivity suites (Microsoft Office, G Suite), and troubleshooting tools. Preferred Beverage Distribution software knowledge.
Ability to align to the LDF Mission, Philosophies, and Values of the organization.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
