WordPress Architect

Description: The ideal candidate should have several years of WordPress experience in building large-scale web sites and applications, Service oriented architecture, integration with multiple systems, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop high-quality code, have excellent communication skills, love solving complex problems, and lead in project design and direction.

Responsibilities : Understand and analyze business/technical requirements, architect innovative, scalable and efficient solutions Application design with core and custom plugins and implementation of Service layer and integration of application with multiple external systems. Interact with distributed teams to ensure smooth delivery of application Participate in daily meetings and regular planning and review sessions Provide documentation as required and lead code reviews, planning sessions and routine status stand-ups Provide accurate level of effort time estimates and provide recommendations for feature prioritization Assist in release/deployment planning and execution activities
Requirements/Qualifications : 12+ years experience in web application development with minimum 6 years experience in WordPress application development Advanced experience in WordPress 5.x and LAMP stack - PHP, MySQL and HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript along Advanced experience with WordPress architecture, best practices, and coding standards Advance experience with third-party applications/tools and integration Experience with WordPress VIP will be preferred Experience with object-oriented design and data modelling Experience of Web Analytics applications Experience with performance optimization of WordPress application Experience of DevOps, Dockers, Virtualization Experience with source/version control systems like GIT/ SVN Knowledge of web application security considerations Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem solving abilities Experience with continuous integration best practice and deployment strategy Experience with Selenium or similar automated testing frameworks. Experience in Cloud web application architecture
(1.) To create all quality documents, collect metrics data and conducting Audits. To perform Value creation and KM activities.
(2.) To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
(3.) To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents
(4.) Co-ordination with On-Site Engineers and attending customer calls
(5.) Raising risks, issues and escalation to senior management and customer
