GENERAL SUMMARY:

This is a full-time midnight shift position in the lab at the Farmington Hills Campus and Livonia.

This position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized tests and procedures for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients in a variety of laboratory areas. Responsibilities include performing chemical, hematologic, immunologic, and microbiologic procedures, instrument maintenance, new test procedure development, and quality assurance activities.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Baccalaureate degree and completion of a clinical laboratory program or the equivalent. U.S. certification or certification eligibility is required. Strong physical effort and work in a clinical laboratory environment are also expected.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Effort: Requires considerable walking, standing, and occasional light lifting.

Work Environment: Works with hazardous reagents and infectious materials.
