Responsibilities:

  • Hold firm to departmental stance on regulated topics in the face of pressures which would lead to negative consequence for the brand.
  • Retain reference data as it pertains to chemical compliance. Topical CRC understandings change daily and require associates to be able to apply new knowledge to the current compliance environment until the next change.
  • Determine required scope of internal/external customer requests. Where scope definition is necessary, the associate will work with other staff to ensure department goals are met.
  • Leverage information achieved from one project for the benefit of all business groups.
  • Initiative to identify gaps in FEPS or CRC needs.
  • Present ideas to close gaps in CRC services/processes to improve internal/external customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge and experience evaluating products for REACH, RoHS, TSCA, Conflict Mineral, and PFAS reporting.
  • Working experience in environmental chemical compliance for a manufacturing entity in chemical compliance processing or product stewardship preferred.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in in relevant areas with chemistry knowledge (Min. at college level) of basic organic and inorganic chemistry.
  • Bachelors' degree, focused on environmental chemistry, toxicology, and/or product stewardship is preferred.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Expertise in Microsoft EXCEL.
