Description: Carroll College is seeking an Admissions Counselor to assist with driving recruitment efforts. This position serves an integral role in the recruitment and retention of prospective undergraduate students. Specific duties/responsibilities include working with potential candidates in a specified territory, interviewing candidates and conducting appropriate follow-up and tracking. The astute Admissions Counselor will also assist enrollment management with developing communication and building relationships with key influencers which lead to increased visibility for Carroll College. Admissions Counselors are required to initiate outreach to all prospects and their families as well as conduct transcript evaluations to determine eligibility for enrollment.Like all Carroll employees, Admissions Counselors are expected to represent the college and maintain positive public relations when attending recruitment events, college fairs, and other community events. Admissions Counselors must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to deliver world-class customer service with a positive attitude. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in related field and 1 year of clerical or office experience. Prior experience in admission, orientation, student affairs, public relations or sales preferred.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
