Hana Meds is seeking a full-time Cannabis Packager to join our team. As a packager you will be responsible for weighing, measuring, and packing portioned cannabis products into packages for shipment. You will also be responsible for organizing finished packages for shipment, creating and folding boxes for packaging, and adhering labels and stickers to packages. If you have a passion for the cannabis industry, this could be a great opportunity for you

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Starting Pay - $15/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently weigh, package, and seal portioned cannabis product into pre-rolls, bags, cartons, and jars.
  • Make cardboard packaging for product, folding boxes.
  • Adhere labels and stickers to retail packaging.
  • Assemble and prepare cannabis products for shipment into bags and boxes to prepare for delivery.
  • Responsible for contributing to individual and/or team goals set by leadership.
  • Accurately follow directions as it relates to different daily tasks at hand.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Skills:
  • Production, packing/shipping, or kitchen prep experience
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Good communication skills, verbal, and written, with co-workers and management.
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Possess good moral values
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Must have valid AZ ID or U.S. passport.
  • Must be able to obtain an Arizona Facility Agent card prior to employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to package for up to 8 hours each day.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs.
  • Job duties are repetitive.
  • Must work quickly to meet packaging quotas.
