Groomer

We’re recruiting for an experienced Groomer at Pet Supplies Plus – North Huntingdon (PA).

Groomer key responsibilities include:

• Delighting neighbors and pets with a full suite of grooming services provided per owners’ instruction and/or according to breed standards
• Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy
• Community outreach to attract new neighbors into our store
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting
• Assist store team members during grooming downtime

Groomer Qualifications:

• Be a graduate of a grooming school or have at least 2 years of professional grooming experience
• Be proficient in all breed standard haircuts    
• Must have your own set of professional grooming tools
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Be able to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time 
• Candidates must pass a drug screening and be 18 years or older
