JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our Float Registry staff. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and assist with other necessary tasks for unit operations under the direction of a licensed professional.

  • Assist with patient care activities and reinforce appropriate care under licensed professional supervision
  • Manage multiple patient care assignments based on unit acuity and staffing levels
  • Receive reports from primary care partner and ensure timely completion of assignments
  • Respond to patient requests and communicate with appropriate caregivers as needed
  • Demonstrate competency in patient-specific procedures and maintain annual certifications
  • Enter accurate documentation into electronic medical records system

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current State of Florida licensure or RN student completing nursing fundamentals or caring scholar course and actively enrolled in an RN Nursing program
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with current valid Florida licensure and work experience required
  • Basic computer knowledge: ability to operate a PC, create/save/print documents, input data
