MLR is seeking a dedicated and flexible Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's esteemed healthcare facility near Los Alamos, NM. This dynamic role allows you to work across various departments, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities for Float Pool RN:
- Provide exceptional nursing care in multiple units, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
- Educate patients and families about health management, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
- Offer support and flexibility during peak times or special circumstances.
- Active RN licensure in New Mexico is required.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current certifications in ACLS and CPR are required; PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings; experience in diverse specialties is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different clinical environments and patient needs.
