Skiptown is on a mission to make the lives of pets and their people easier, and even more fun, through a tech-enabled, premium pet services ecosystem, and state-of-the-art facilities. Our 52,000 sq ft indoor and outdoor space in RiNo offers dog daycare, boarding, grooming, training and a social bar - and will soon expand to include retail.
The Pet Care Supervisor will help lead the Pet Care Services team in providing excellent service and care for our dog customers while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The ideal Pet Services Manager is someone who.....
- Loves making an impact while ensuring that our dogs receive the highest standard of care (you'll know by the tail wags)
- Supports their team, proactively fixes problems and finds solutions
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
- Prepare the shift schedule and the daily role schedule and ensure that all shifts are filled, resolving staffing issues timely
- Resolve issues escalated by leads during shift and escalate emergent issues to PSM
- Provide onsite support, filling in for daily schedule roles as needed to ensure highest level of service quality and safety
- Oversee the daily schedule
- Ensure client report quality and timeliness
- Conduct inventory counts, ensuring that pet care has all supplies needed to deliver service
- Help build a high performing, engaged team. Have coaching conversation/delivering feedback on issues. Escalating disciplinary issues and documenting - to manager
- At least 2 years of experience working in a daycare and boarding facility with at least 1 year of lead/supervisory experience
- Experience in herding cats (leading a group of people)
- Must be reliable and punctual because these pups won't wait all day
- You put your laundry in the hamper and not in "that chair in the corner" (you're organized)
- You've put together a piece of IKEA furniture right the first time (you're thorough and detail-oriented)
- Availability to work some major holidays

- $20-22 per hour compensation range
- Capable of physical movements requiring the use of legs, wrists, hands and/or fingers including kneeling and bending.
- Repetitive arm and wrist use. Frequent grasping.
- Ability to work in an outside environment, sometimes in adverse weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, or snow.
- Ability to pull up to 140 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet and/or walking up to eight (8) hours per day for at least four (4) hours at a time frequently on uneven or hilly walking surface.
- Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds.
