POSITION SUMMARY: UW-Superior\'s Center for Continuing Education provides educational programming for lifelong learners in Superior, northwestern Wisconsin, Duluth, and the surrounding Twin Ports area. We are dedicated to working with our community to serve our community. We serve students, professionals, small businesses, leaders, and all lifelong learners through academic, professional, and personal development programs. We work with our community members, partners, and our UW-Superior colleagues to provide relevant and accessible programs. The Outreach Specialist position delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. This role strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. They may assist with tracking and managing the outreach program budget. The Outreach Specialist will support the operations and continued growth of the following program areas: High School College Credit, 55+ Lifelong Learners, and non-credit professional development. UW-STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES: -Identifies, promotes, and maintains external partnerships to support the outreach program. -Schedules and secures resources and communicates logistics in support of an outreach program. -Delivers outreach program content and materials to community members. -Researches, develops, and facilitates outreach program content and materials. -Develops and evaluates curriculum and programs and provides recommendations for improvement. -May assist with the monitoring of outreach program budget spending. -Leads the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures through oversight of day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers.
